A Medallion signature guarantee is a special signature guarantee for the transfer of securities. It is a guarantee by the transferring financial institution that the signature is genuine and the financial institution accepts liability for any forgery. Signature guarantees protect shareholders by preventing unauthorized transfers and possible investor losses. Our “C” stamps have a limit of $500,000.
Contact your local branch to verify if someone at that location has a Medallion stamp.
We’re glad you are considering us for your next investment! Our holding company is First Capital, Inc. We are traded on the NASDAQ as FCAP. FCAP stock can be purchased directly from our transfer agent, Computershare. For more information, see our Investor Relations page.
Rolling coins in wrappers is not as fun as simply cashing in coin, so we have coin counters at several locations. See our Locations page for more information about which branches have coin counters.
We typically ask for requests such as these thirty days in advance. Last minute requests cannot always be accommodated. Requests should be made via the Donation Request page.
The standard deposit insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category by the FDIC. FDIC insurance covers all banking deposit products. Visit the FDIC for more information.

We are always accepting applications. For specific openings, see our Careers page.
